Congratulations to Dylan B who was selected for the Pine Rivers District Touch team and is competing at regionals soon.

Cross Country

We had a wonderful cross country last term with great weather, wonderful staff, awesome parent helpers and an amazing bunch of kids who ran a very long way up and down lots of hills. There a lot of cheering coming from both the parents/carer/family/friends cheer squad on the oval and also from the house tents. The final result was: Terrors 226, Armstrong 229, Rush 270. Congratulations Rush.

District Cross Country

I know many parents and students are keen to find out if they have been selected to compete at the Pine Rivers District Cross country which will be held at Pine Rivers Park on Friday 6^th May. However, I am still waiting to find out the details regarding the number of students per age group and the required times. This is something that frequently changes and I do not want to tell students they are selected and then have to reverse the decision. The district will be finalising these decisions on Friday so I hope to get this information out to you by Monday at the latest.

AFL after school program

NAB AFL Auskick will be running a six-week AFL program this term. Details are as follows:

Day: Mondays 16/5/22, 23/5/22, 30/5/22, 6/6/22, 13/6/22 and 20/6/22

Time: 3.20pm – 4.20pm

Location: Oval

Year levels: Any student from P-6

Cost: $80 direct from participant to AFLQ via online registration

Benefits: football, bag, benefits pack

Coaches will run a session with each class over the next three weeks and hand out fliers. If you wish your child to attend the AFL after school program please either collect a permission form from the office or download the attachment from the newsletter and return as soon as possible.
