Helping Hands
Welcome back to term four!
Our vacation care was a success, with children attending ice skating and fishing excursions as well as participating in an inflatable gladiator challenge. We also delved into science with a day of experiments as well as sustainability day, crazy construction and art masters to name a few. Keep your eyes peeled for what we are preparing for in December/January holidays.
Fruit for Schools is continuing this term. We will have a bowl of fresh fruit at the office every morning for those that forget to bring a fruit snack. This gets re-filled on Monday and Wednesday mornings. The only exception to this is the first week of term four given Monday is a public holiday.
A reminder that a new term means it's a great time to review your bookings. Bookings can be amended via the iParent Portal under the bookings tab. During the term, there is a 24hr lockout period before the session in which you will need to contact the service to make your booking (for example to book Tuesday morning, the lockout period applies as of 6:30am Monday).
LOST PROPERTY:
Unfortunately, our lost property pile has grown immensely, with several jumpers, hats, drink bottles and other items included. Please encourage your child/ren to check this next time they are attending and ensure that all items are named correctly so we can help return these items.
If your child/ren will be absent from a session, please ensure they are marked absent on the iparent portal. This is done under the bookings tab by selecting the date/session and clicking the red x on the right. Please see one of our educators for support if you are experiencing issues making or managing your bookings. Failure to notify us of absences in after school care means educators are having to search for children and a no-show fee may be applied to your account. A reminder that bookings with less than 24hrs will need to be made via contacting the service on 0459 991 697.
