Library & Maker Space News
Maker Space
Robots have been taking over the Library! We have several classes working on robotics and coding based tasks during class time as well as our upper primary robotics club who meet after school on Mondays. Students who visit the Library during first break also have the option of using robots for different activities and challenges such as using Dash robots to compose musical pieces, and using Sphero robots to play a game of soccer.
We would also like to thank the families who have donated cardboard boxes to the maker space. These boxes are already being turned into wonderful new inventions by our creative students.

The performances this year are a dramatic retelling of “Your Birthday was the Best” for lower school students and “Aster’s Good, Right Things” for upper school students. The cost to attend the performance is $8.80 per student.
Premier’s Reading Challenge
The Premier’s Reading Challenge reading period finishes this Friday. Remember that students need to hand their reading record sheet to their class teacher as soon as possible after Friday so that their reading details can be updated on the data base.
