French Cultural Day – Celebrating all things French
This year’s French Day will be held on Friday, July 30.
All students are encouraged to come to school dressed in French theme. This could be something iconically, or stereotypically French. Examples include dressing as a ballerina, a French soccer player, a cyclist, a chef, a baker, a model, an artist, a food item, a scientist, Marie Antoinette, the Eiffel Tower the President of France or a mime artist. The list is endless. Or they may come in the French colours: dark blue, white and red.

If Students do not dress in theme, they wear their school uniform. This is not a free dress day. There is no cost for dressing up. I am encouraging students to be creative, and discouraging them from spending money on their costumes.
Students will also be able to order some sumptuous French food from the tuckshop. There will be separate information about this.
I am looking forward to seeing a spectacle of French culture again this year.
