P&C News
Dayboro Community Sunday Funday
The Dayboro Community Sunday Funday at the Dayboro Pool was successful despite the bad weather, and the kids who attended certainly had a wonderful time. P&C would like to sincerely thank our MBRC local Councillor Darren Grimwade for funding and organising this event, now in its second year, as well the great efforts by Bridget and Erin from BE Events, who did so much of the organisational work in the lead up to, and the day of this event, all of which made P&C’s involvement all the more easier. I would also like to especially thank our Vice President Nathan, who took the lead role in P&C’s involvement with this event this year, along with all the other P&C members and other family volunteers who assisted throughout. Thank you all! It appears P&C has raised almost $870.00, and this money is earmarked to assist with covering the costs of our School’s swimming program for our kids.
Easter Raffle
The Easter Raffle is now well underway, with both chocolate donations and sold raffle ticket monies and ticket stubs being deposited at the Office. Many thanks to all families who have already donated items for use with the raffle prizes, but we look forward to receiving more donations towards the Easter Raffle over the coming week. Please note that all tickets (both sold and unsold) and ticket sale monies need to be returned to the Office before Wednesday 27 March, and please do not remove the label from the book of tickets. This year’s Easter Raffle prizes will be drawn at Parade on Monday 1 April.
Containers for Change
For all the keen recyclers among our students and families, please be aware you can make donations to our P&C via involvement with the Containers for Change scheme. This way you can not only help the environment, but also help our School through your P&C. The Dayboro State School P&C scheme ID is C10042067, so please use this ID if you want to donate in this manner and any proceeds will be deposited into our P&C account.
