Thank You to our Mother’s Day Stall volunteers!

Thank you to everyone who assisted with both the Mother’s Day Stall and the preparations leading up to it! The day ran seamlessly and there were plenty of children proud of their purchases! Thank you also to the Dayboro Boomerang Bags team who generously donated some very lovely bags!

BOOK FAIR

You can't go wrong with books! Another successful Book Fair with students choosing some new favourites to add to their reading stash. our annual Book Fair provides a valuable source of funds, via rewards, that enable our school librarian to select new books for the library collection.

P&C MEETING UPDATE

In last week’s general meeting, the P&C Committee discussed and voted on several school and P&C operational matters. We;

• Voted to host another fabulous Colour Run later this year! This time we hope parents will have the opportunity to come along and experience this fun event!
• Voted that following this year, the Colour Run will be hosted every second year, alternating with a different fundraising event such as the long-time favourite Walkathon.
• Discussed options on how the P&C may wish to financially contribute to the school to enhance opportunities for learning, assist with additional or improved resources & facilities or provide unique & rewarding experiences. With State Member Nikki Boyd generously committing funds to build a new playground, the P&C is now exploring several other worthy projects incorporating feedback from our parent survey in late 2020.
• Shared draft versions of our proposed 3-year Strategic Plan and Annual Operational Plan.

BOOK LISTS AND STUDENT RESOURCE SCHEME – Special Meeting

The P&C Committee, which also includes both our Principal and Deputy Principal, have confirmed that a special meeting will be held to discuss the options available to families in purchasing required resources, including the advantages and disadvantages of the various options.
