SENIOR TRACK AND FIELD CARNIVAL – COMING SOON!
The Senior Track and Field carnival will be held in exactly two weeks on Tuesday 26th March (week 9). The children have been busily training for track and field events, and our committee is in the process of organising the sprints divisions for the big day. The high jump event is being held over the next two weeks, and the results of this event will be announced on carnival day.
The children will rotate through five stations in their age groups – 100m sprints, long jump, discus, shot put and a new novelty event “Tug of War”. The finale on the day will be the 200m sprints. At each of the field events, some parent help will be required with measuring – it would be wonderful if we could all work together to assist the teachers on each station!
