Parent Teacher Interviews

Our school is offering face-to-face or telephone interviews with parents for Term 3. Typically, the interviews are held in Weeks 9 and 10 (from 7- 18 September), however some teachers have elected to commence the process earlier this term. If they haven’t done so already, teachers will be communicating information about their availability for interviews in the near future. I would encourage each parent to take the time to talk about their child’s progress and development with the class teacher.  To be COVID-Safe, please ensure that when visiting the school that all required protocols are carried out, as advised by the individual teachers. 

Movie and TV Free Dress Day – Next Friday 28 August

Our Student Council is inviting students to dress as their favourite Movie or TV character for a free dress day this Friday. The cost is a gold coin donation. The Council have selected the Anglicare Homeless Youth charity as the recipient on this occasion.

Student Free Day

Our school will be closed on Friday 4 September for a Student Free Day. Our teachers will be engaged in a range of professional development and training activities throughout this day.  Please note there is no student free day in Term 4 this year.

Prep Enrolment Information  

Our annual Prep Information Session was held last Wednesday.  If you were not able to attend please contact the school office for an enrolment information pack.   If you have a child born between 1 July 2015- 30 June 2016, he/she is eligible for Prep enrolment at Dayboro State School in 2021.

Our Prep Interviews are being held between 19-23 October. Please organise a time with the school office if this has not already been done. An orientation day has been organised for Tuesday 10 November and will be followed up by morning visits on 16/23/30 November.  All enrolment packs should be returned as soon as possible to the school office.
