Chappy's News
Chappy's Thought of the week:
“Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones you’ll start having positive results”
To help our children to get along with others we need to teach them this type of thinking (self-talk)
- Being tolerant of others: We are all different. We all have good things about us.
- Thinking first: When someone has something that I want, asking “Can I play too?” or “Can I go next?” “Can I have that after you?”
- Playing by the rules: Following rules is good. Rules help us to be safe and happy.
- Social Responsibility: It is good to help others. It is good to make things clean and safer.
Self talk is very important in the way we think about ourselves and others. Encourage students to talk nicely, believe and be kind to themselves, and always find something positive about others.
Have a great week, Chappy Andrew
