Over the last fortnight our children creatively created pencil holders, painted owls and created unique pictures with their handprints. These activities prompted positive interactions among children and educators, and children showed commitment to finish these. We also engaged in outdoor games such as handball, red rover, capture the flag and basketball. Our moovosity program, designed to promote physical activity through age appropriate activities saw our children participate in games such as Howzat! And step on it. Howzat utilised accuracy skills to throw the ball at the wickets in a relay format to encourage teamwork. Step on it developed agility skills used in red rover for example by stepping on desginated markers. Children were also excited to engage in an experiment to blow a balloon up without using their mouth. This prompted curiosity, inquiry and hypothesising from the children.

If your child/ren will be absent from a session, please ensure they are marked absent on the iparent portal. This is done under the bookings tab by selecting the date/session and clicking the red x on the right. Please see one of our educators for support if you are experiencing issues making or managing your bookings. Please also ensure you are able access your iparent portal – this is where you make and amend your bookings and receive notifications, messages and newsletters from us in addition to this fortnightly segment.
