Music News
Some of you may already know that over the past few weeks, the students in Prep, Year 1, 2, and 3 have been performing songs we have been learning in music class for their assessment.
First and foremost, I want to say that my students were all incredibly brave to stand up in front of me, (and most of them, in front of the class as well) and perform a piece of music. I certainly learned a lot about each of these young people, and I hope many of them realised how successful they were in being confident enough to perform before their peers.
As performance is a huge part of learning music, I am sending this message to encourage these young people to continue maintaining their confidence. I was sincerely impressed, and am proud of every single one of them.
Parents and teachers, please take this opportunity to congratulate and encourage these incredible young people. Building their confidence to stand in front of their peers is not only important for their learning in music and other school areas, but an essential life skill that I look forward to helping support while I teach at Dayboro State School.
Once again, I am sincerely proud of all of these brave students, and I look forward to working with them in Term 3.
Regards
