The importance of Learning Goals
What are your child’s learning goals for Term 3?
Depending on the age of your child, they might include:
- to write a sentence using a full stop and capital letter at the beginning;
- to solve a two-step Maths problem;
- to work co-operatively with others; or
- to identify the language features of a poem.
Teachers and students in all classrooms at Dayboro SS will be working together this week to identify each student’s learning goals for Term 3 and the steps needed to achieve these goals.

Ask your child tonight what his or her learning goals are for this term and what he or she will need to do to achieve them. Your support will have a huge impact on their learning.
