This Thursday 25th June we celebrate 100 years since the first builidng was officially opened on our current Dayboro State School site. We have a very special day planned with a cutting of a celebratory cake, the revealing of a commemorative brass plaque for the original building and a tree planting of three Tuckeroo trees up near our hall to provide shade for future generations of our students to come. Mrs Taylor has organised a Special Tuckshop day with ham and salad sandwiches and coffee rolls just like the old days. Wednesday is the last day for orders to be placed. Teachers have also organised a great day of activties both in and out of classrooms with Marbles, Hopscotch, Knuckles and Elastics games proving popular. This is not a Free Dress Day. Students will still be required to wear their school uniforms.

As we can not invite parents and special guests along, plenty of photos will be taken and posted on our school Facebook page of all the fun.
