Dear Parents/Caregivers,

As the time to return to school looms ever nearer, I would like to remind year 4,5 & 6 students about Crochet Club…

When school resumes I will run Crochet Club every Tuesday in my room during play time at first break.

If children would like to join, they need to bring two or three balls of colourful 8 ply wool and a size 4 or 4.5mm crochet hook (about $4 from Big W)..

They can give their wool and hook to me as soon as they are ready so that I can start a granny square for them.

If you have wool at home which you would be happy to donate to our club, I would be most grateful.

It will also be necessary for the children to have a bag in which to keep their crochet gear. A fabric shopping bag is ideal!

I have some students from previous clubs who are willing to join in and mentor their friends.

When they are confident, it is lovely to see them sitting under trees, or in our year 6 courtyard crocheting together!
