STEAM Day visit
Thank you to Pine Rivers State High School!
On Wednesday 4 March, 24 students in Years 4-6 from Dayboro State School visited Pine Rivers State High School for an exciting day focussed on mining. Students participated in a fun ‘Muffin Mining’ Activity and then explored the concept of metal extraction. In the afternoon students used metals to make their very own jewellery. High school teachers were very impressed with the depth of knowledge and understanding shown by our students and the attentive and beautiful manners they displayed. Our students all commented on what a fabulous day it had been and were very appreciative of the time and effort expended by the high school teachers. Many thanks go to the staff and the Principal at Pine Rivers State High for organising the day for us.
