We have introduced a new booking system, called School Online Booking System (SOBS). Interview times close 24hrs prior, so please make sure you get in quick to book an appointment.

To book an interview, please follow the below steps:

  3. Click next.
  4. Enter your information: first name, surname, mobile number.
  5. Click save.
  6. Click ‘Add a student’, and enter the information required: first name, surname.
  7. Select the year level from the dropdown box.
  8. Click save.

  12. Click next.

  15. You should then receive a confirmation email of your booking.

If you are experiencing any issues with booking an interview time, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office on 3425 6111 and one of our staff will be able to assist you.

Electronic Visitor Register

Just a reminder to parents that we have our new sign-in register for visitors in the office, Passtab. We have had some networking issues over the last week, however this problem seems to now be solved.

If you’re volunteering in the school in any capacity (classroom, tuckshop, etc.) you will need to ensure you are signed in through the iPad in the office.

Volunteering in Classrooms

If you are not volunteering in your child’s classroom (i.e. your child is in a Prep class but you are volunteering in a Year 1 class) you are required to hold a Volunteer Blue Card. Grandparents also require to obtain a Blue Card when volunteering.

It is free of charge to gain a Blue Card, please see the office for a form.

Payment: Plans & How to Pay

Payment plans are available for all families, whether you are experiencing financial difficulties or you would prefer to pay for excursions / camps in a lengthy timeframe. Payments must be made regularly, and must be completed by 27th November 2020. This is to ensure all of our excursions are reconciled and meet financial deadlines.

Facilities Hire

As Dayboro State School has a strong association with the local community, we allow community groups to hire certain areas of the school. Our facilities such as the Hall, Under Covered Area (CSA), Oval and Tennis Court are available to hire at a set cost.

All Facilities Hire arrangements need to be discussed with the Business Manager and are approved by the Principal. All fees go directly into the school, whether that be maintaining our grounds and facilities, or providing additional resources for our students.

For more information on our Facilities Hire, please contact the school office.

Voluntary Contributions

By participating in the Voluntary Financial Contribution Scheme, Dayboro SS is able to provide classroom resources, home readers and other consumables to enhance learning activities for Literary, Numeracy, Science, Art and Technology.

The costs involved in the Voluntary Financial Contributions are:

  • $50 per student; or
  • $100 per family of two or more enrolled students.

Proceeds raised through the Voluntary Financial Contribution Scheme will benefit all students, so we encourage parents to participate in the scheme.

The Voluntary Financial Contribution Scheme is approved by the P&C each year, and is aligned to the Department of Education policy requirements.
