Student Leaders for 2020

As P&C President, I will be sitting in to listen to all the students who are giving speeches for the 2020 School Leaders selection process being held in the Hall on Thursday (21 Nov). Next week, I will then be part of the interview panel to determine the 2020 School Captains. I very much look forward to hearing from all the Students who have put themselves forward for candidates for the various leadership roles for our School.

PROPOSAL FOR NEW SPORTS POLO SHIRTS

P&C has been approached by one school family to consider new look Sports Polo shirts to replace the existing design house colour shirts which been in service at our School for many years. This proposal also provided four different new-look and coloured designs for consideration. For this proposal to be seriously considered, P&C is now distributing the suggested new design options via the School Newsletter and the P&C website so that families can view and gauge interest in changing the existing patterns Sports polo shirts, and if so, which design option is the most preferred out of the four sourced options. P&C will gather school families’ feedback and then table findings for further discussion at a future P&C meeting along with the School’s senior staff. P&C greatly appreciates any feedback you may wish to provide on this proposal for new Sports Polos.

Volunteer Helpers Morning Tea 

The Volunteers morning tea is on Friday 29 November to thank all volunteers to the School, our School Banking volunteers, Tuckshop and Uniform Shop, and to P&C in general, for which invites have been sent out last week. RSVPs need to be received by our P&C Secretary Mia by Monday 25 November so that we can determine the venue and catering.

Volunteering for Tuckshop and the Uniform Shop

The Tuckshop and Uniform Shop are P&C’s two main business entities which provide important services to our students and families. More volunteers are needed to help staff and operate both these services. Please consider assisting as both require more volunteers to ensure these can operate effectively not only this, but especially through 2020.

P&C’s final general meeting for 2019 is Monday 2 December at 6.30pm

This will be a quick meeting reviewing the year’s affairs, along with setting the stage for re-starting the work of P&C early in the coming New Year. After this meeting we are joining with Senior School Staff for a social end of year gathering and meal, with more details as we get closer to the date.
