Helping Hands
What’s happening at Helping Hands?
A big thankyou to those children who are remembering to bring hats and drink bottles every session; with this warmer weather it is essential hats and drink bottles are brought. We are happy to re-fill drink bottles as needed to encourage children to stay hydrated.
It has been great to see our children engaging and collaborating so positively in various games both indoor and outdoor. Children have problem-solved some tricky rush hour games and constructed exciting things with magnetic tiles and Mobilo. Outside of the house we have seen some great examples of teamwork and leadership in games of newspaper hockey, soccer, cricket and touch football. Our older children have shown patience and empathy to teach their younger peers how to play these games, plus handball and french cricket.
Vacancies are available for both morning and afternoon sessions on selected days, and we welcome all children and families to the service.
