What’s happening at Helping Hands?

We saw children’s creativity sparked through a three-marker challenge, children taught each other how to draw various pictures and many rounds of tag team were played in between handball competitions. Some of our older children were very excited to spend a morning challenging Miss Jenny to a game of Scattegories; a game that put general knowledge and creative thinking to the test. All participants showed great sportsmanship and a desire to win.

As it is the last week of the term, we would like to wish all our families a safe and wonderful break, and we look forward to seeing you all in term four or throughout vacation care.

We still have some spaces available for vacation care and it is encouraged that bookings are made as soon as possible to help us plan activities for each day. Children do need to be enrolled with the service prior to booking/attending. Please see below on how to enrol. Please be aware that children will need to wear sun safe clothing each day, closed in shoes, bring a hat, drink bottle and lunch. Breakfast, morning tea and afternoon tea are included in the daily fee.

Vacancies are available for both morning and afternoon sessions on selected days, and we welcome all children and families to the service.
