P&C News

Walkathon

Pizza Parties for Class Winners took place on Friday 6 September – The two Walkathon pizza parties, one for 5H (the best dressed class winner), and 1D and 1L (the joint class winners who raised the most money), took place last Friday. These parties were quite the mammoth effort in the end, with P&C feeding some 75 students plus their respective teaching staff all told. Overall these parties were a major success and many very happy, well fed and smiling students were seen at the end of each party. Many thanks again to classes 5H, 1D and 1L and their Teachers for their success and contributions to this year’s Walkathon fundraising event for our School!

P&C would like to again sincerely thank Brian at our local Johnny’s Pizza Place for not only opening very early to cater for our huge pizza orders on the day, but also for personally delivering to the School Hall at the start of each party last Friday. Many thanks Johnny’s Pizza Place!!!

Family Dance Night is on Thursday 12 September

There are two sessions for this school dance event, the first is 5.30-6.30pm for Prep through to Year 2, then the second session is 7.00-8.30pm for Years 3 through to 6. Please note that P&C’s is doing one pre-ordered meal service during 5.30-6.30pm, and Order Forms outlining the menu and payment options were distributed to students last week.

Pre-ordered meals are via flexischools or paper orders returned to the Office with cash.  All pre-ordered meal orders are due in by end of Tuesday 10 September. Also note that there will be drinks (water and poppers) available for purchase on the night but no additional food. Complementary tea and coffee will also be available on the night.

School Swimming Program

One of the many ways in which your School’s P&C supports our School and its Students is by financially assisting with the costs of the swimming program throughout the year. P&C last week contributed a further $1000.00 towards this program which our Students will benefit from during Term 4.

Booklists for 2020

The P&C Executive and School Senior Staff will be meeting later this week to finalise a supplier for our School’s booklists need for next year. Stay tuned for more news on the outcome of this decision soon.
