Finance News
Hello, from the new Business Manager
Hello, and welcome to week 4! My name is Clare Ingham, and I am the new Business Manager for Dayboro State School, replacing Kayleen Giles who has retired.
I am absolutely thrilled to be at Dayboro SS, and have so far been very welcomed into the school and community. It is my aim to work with families to ensure all students are able to participate in every opportunity they are presented with. For any family that is having financial difficulties and having issues paying for excursions or other curricular events, please contact me and we can discuss your financial options as needed.
Voluntary Financial Contributions
Dayboro SS is seeking Voluntary Financial Contributions from families
In 2019, Dayboro State School is once again seeking parents to participate in the Voluntary Financial Contributions Scheme. The scheme operates at the school to cover the extra costs incurred by the school in providing the best possible learning environment and extra activities for your child/children.
The costs involved in the Voluntary Financial Contributions are:
- $50 per student; or
- $100 per family of two or more enrolled students.
The Voluntary Financial Contribution Scheme provides classroom resources and home readers for our Resource Centre to enhance learning activities for Literacy, Numeracy, Science, Art and Technology. Consumables such as specialised art supplies, coloured paper and card, cooking supplies and colour printer ink cartridges are just some of the items purchased from this money. Class activities and other classroom resources may be purchased with this contribution money as well.
Proceeds raised through the Voluntary Financial Contribution Scheme will benefit all students, so we encourage parents to participate in the scheme.
The Voluntary Financial Contribution Scheme is approved by the P&C each year, and is aligned to the Department of Education policy requirements.
Payments can be made from the following methods:
- Online payments - BPOINT
Dayboro SS and the Department of Education’s preferred method of payment is BPOINT. The web address below provides a direct link to BPOINT.
Enter the CRN (Customer Reference Number) and invoice number as listed below.
Enter the student/s name and the amount you are paying.
- Paying by phone.
If you do not wish to process payments online, you are able to pay by phone using a credit/debit card via BPOINT 1300 631 073.
Please quote the CRN and invoice number below.
- Paying in person.
You can pay in person at the Dayboro State School Administration using EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard or cash.
Please note, to provide safety to our students and staff in carrying money through the school grounds and community, we are progressing towards becoming a cashless school. Payments made via BPOINT, phone or EFTPOS are encouraged over using cash.
Middle Years Swimming – Years 3 & 4
Payments due on Wednesday 20th February 2019
All payments for the Middle Years Swimming (students in classes 3M, 3OH, 4B and 4S) are due by Wednesday 20th February (tomorrow!) Payment is required prior to students attending.
If you have any issues with payment, please contact me to arrange a payment plan. We do not wish for any student to miss out on this opportunity due to their financial concerns.
Instrumental Music
Payments and Forms due as soon as possible
All students who are participating in the Instrumental Music Program have been invoiced for either one or two items:
- Instrumental Music Program: $60
- Instrumental Music Program, Instrument Hire: $120
All students should now have a letter to parents, outlining the costs involved.
Again, if there are any families that are having issues with payments, please contact me to arrange a payment plan.
Kind regards,
