What’s happening at Helping Hands?

This week at Helping Hands we have created some Aboriginal marble painting displays, created a sandpit garden, developed our fine motor skills through free hand drawing sessions and continued to explore our favourite life quotes to start our days off positively.

Outside of the house, soccer and handball continue to be popular, and our prep children have sparked an interest in the toy cars again. This led to children teaching each other road safety by setting up cones for a road and using chalk to design a stop sign and a zebra crossing to ensure other children, educators and families are safe.

Our older girls this week have begun a new 5D creation and we are excited to see the result of this one. This encourages great concentration and co-ordination from the girls.

Our homework club is back up and running for the new term, and it has been great to see so many children spending time on their own homework and helping each other through their homework. This runs from 4:30-5pm Monday-Thursdays, please see one of our friendly educators if you would like your child to be included in this.
