We made it! What a fantastic first semester we have had at Dayboro State School. There have been lots of exciting excursions and incursions in the school and many fantastic opportunities for our students. Thank you to all of the parents and families, your promptness with payments have ensured all excursions have gone ahead without any issues.

Upcoming excursions & incursions for Term 3

With Term 2 almost done and dusted, it is time to think about the upcoming payments for Term 3. Due dates for Term 3 excursions/incursions so far are as follows:

  • Dance Fever (Term 3) – Payments due 28th June (last day of Term 2)
  • Year 5 Camp (Term 3) – Payments due 26th July (end of Week 2, Term 3)

If there are any families of Year 5 students who require a payment plan for Camp, please contact me as soon as possible to arrange. We do not wish for any student to miss this fantastic opportunity.

Payments can be made from the following methods:

  • Online payments - BPOINT

By clicking on the BPOINT link on your invoice, it will take you directly to the website to pay.

  • Paying by phone.

If you do not wish to process payments online, you are able to pay by phone using a credit/debit card via BPOINT 1300 631 073.

Please quote the CRN and invoice number located at the bottom of the invoice. .

  • Paying in person.

You can pay in person at the Dayboro State School Administration using EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard or cash*.

*Please note, to provide safety to our students and staff in carrying money through the school grounds and community, we are progressing towards becoming a cashless school. Payments made via BPOINT, phone or EFTPOS are encouraged over using cash.

Voluntary Contributions

It’s not too late to donate to the Voluntary Financial Contribution Scheme! The below details outline the cost involved, as well as a link to pay online. Payments can be made directly to the school also via Cash or EFTPOS.

The costs involved in the Voluntary Financial Contributions are:

  • $50 per student; or
  • $100 per family of two or more enrolled students.

The Voluntary Financial Contribution Scheme is approved by the P&C each year, and is aligned to the Department of Education policy requirements. By donating to the Voluntary Financial Contribution Scheme, Dayboro SS is able to provide classroom resources, home readers and other consumables to enhance learning activities for Literary, Numeracy, Science, Art and Technology.

Facilities Update

As you are aware, we are very fortunate enough to have our wonderful P&C raise enough money to fund a major project in the school, our air-conditioning installation in the Library. We will have contractors on-site over the school holidays to install the air-conditioning in the Library and service all of our other existing air-conditioning units to ensure they are working effectively and efficiently. Once again, I would like to thank our fantastic P&C for supporting our students!

From all of us at Dayboro State School, I hope you all have a safe and happy break with family and friends. See you all next term!

Kind regards,

Clare Ingham
