P&C’s Major Raffle 

The raffle was drawn at Assembly at School on Monday (24 June) and the major prize holiday package winner is an Albany Creek resident. The MP3 player book seller incentive prize was won by a Year 1 student, plus we had an additional photography voucher prize (valued at $375.00) which was kindly donated by Belinda Johnson which was won by a Year 5 student. Sincere thanks to all students and families who got behind this major fundraising effort by P&C, the proceeds of which will help support our School and students. 

The Wild West themed School Disco was held last Friday. We hope all who attended had a wonderful night of fun and dancing, and of course many prizes were handed out throughout the event. P&C would like to especially thank the hearty band of volunteers who manned the kitchen, sales and dealt with pre-ordered meals throughout the night. Also, many thanks to the various families who also provided some very yummy baked goods and other dessert sweets which did not last long as they proved very popular. Of course, a final big thanks goes to Craig Doyle Real Estate who provided two $30 giftcards for the two winners of the best dressed competition at each session, as well as donating $200.00 to P&C to assist with costs. 

Uniform Shop

The uniform shop's day of operation is being changed to Monday morning.  Karen will be opening the uniform shop on Mondays 8.30 - 9.00am from now on commencing on Monday 15 July (first day back at school for term 3).

School holidays 

The holidays are almost upon us, so on behalf of all at P&C, we hope you all have a fun and safe time over the semester break (29 June – 14 July). We look forward to seeing you all back for the start of Term 3 on Monday 15 July. 

P&C  Meetings

Our next two P&C meetings are scheduled for Mondays 22 July and 19 August. Please consider coming along to help being a part of your School and P&C.
