Library Book Returns
This week is the final week of Term 2 and we now require all books on loan to students from Prep to Year 3 to be returned to the Library.
Students in Years 4 – 6 may borrow books for the holiday period, but all overdue books need to be retuned as soon as possible.
Class teachers have been given lists of books that students need to return. Requests for payments for lost or damaged books will be sent home with students after the holidays.
Book Week Preparations
Although Book Week isn’t until August, classes have started assisting us with creating colourful and imaginative items for Book Week Displays.
Each year, books written by Australian authors are nominated in different categories for prizes presented by the Children’s Book Council of Australia. These shortlisted books are the inspiration for our displays.
It is always fantastic to see how enthusiastic the children are when using their artistic skills while at the Library.
