P&C’s Major Raffle closes this week on Wednesday 19 June, so to be in the running for this major prize package you need to have all sold tickets and monies returned to the Office this week. The winner will be drawn on Monday 24 June. The prize is a fabulous Gold Coast Family Holiday prize for two adults and two kids for a 4 nights’ stay at the Sea World Resort and Water Park in a Resort Double Room. The winner also receives entry to Sea World, Warner Bros. Movie World, Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast, and Paradise Country over the same 4-day period, plus a Caltex Fuel Card valued at $200, along with food and beverage credit for Sea World Resort & Water Park valued at $100. If you do not wish to sell your family’s book of tickets, can you please also return these to the Office. 

Book Fair at the Library ended last week, but was a wonderful success overall, and a percentage of the proceeds will soon come back to the Library to help purchase more books and materials for our kids to use. P&C was pleased to assist our two wonderful Library staff over the four days of this year’s Book Fair, along with the volunteer efforts of Cara Diak who also helped staff this very popular event with our students and families.  

The School Disco is on this Friday 21 June. We have a variety of prize packs that will be presented on the night. Each session will have a best dressed, first, second and third prize winners, along with best dressed teacher and best dressed parent, among other small prizes for best dancing efforts on the night. 

P&C are taking pre-order meals for this Disco evening so please return these order forms with money to the Office by this Friday morning (21 June). You can also make meal orders and payments via Flexi-schools online (and orders via this option have been extended through to this Wednesday 19 June). 

Pre-ordered meals will be available at the Hall Kitchen for the First Session of the Disco (i.e. years Prep – 1) from 5.00-5.30pm, and then the Second Session (I.e. years 2 – 6) from 6.30-7.00pm. 

Our next two P&C meetings are scheduled for Mondays 22 July and 19 August. Please consider coming along to help being a part of your School and P&C.
