Dance Fever
Dance Fever notes and invoices have been sent home on Monday. The cost of Dance Fever for Term 3 is $30, which ends up being $3 per lesson.
Payment is required by Friday 28th June (last day of Term 2). As always, we are able to offer families the option of a payment plan. Please contact the school office to arrange as soon as possible.
Payments can be made from the following methods:

If you do not wish to process payments online, you are able to pay by phone using a credit/debit card via BPOINT 1300 631 073.
Please quote the CRN and invoice number below.
- Paying in person.
You can pay in person at the Dayboro State School Administration using EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard or cash*.
*Please note, to provide safety to our students and staff in carrying money through the school grounds and community, we are progressing towards becoming a cashless school. Payments made via BPOINT, phone or EFTPOS are encouraged over using cash.
Excursions & Payments
Term 2 is going by so quickly, that our excursions towards the end of the term and now fast approaching. By Wednesday of this week, we will have invoiced all excursions for Term 2. If there are any families that are having difficulty paying for invoices, please contact the school office to arrange a payment plan.
It is our aim at Dayboro State School to allow families enough time to pay for excursions, allowing payment plans to ensure that every student has an opportunity to participate.
First Aid & CPR Course
Dayboro State School is holding a First Aid and CPR course on Saturday 1st June. The course details are as follows:
HLTAID001: Provide CPR
HLTAID003: First Aid
HLTAID004: Education and Care First Aid (this encompasses Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, along with specified first aid for an education setting).
Fluid Learning are once again conducting the training for our staff, and we invite anyone from the local community or businesses that need to update their qualifications to participate.
The course is running from 9am to 2pm, with CPR being held first for those who only need this qualification.
The cost of the courses are:
$60 for CPR
$120 for First Aid
$150 for Education and Care First Aid

Voluntary Contributions
If you haven’t yet donated to the Voluntary Financial Contribution Scheme, you can still do so. The below details outline the cost involved, as well as a link to pay online. Payments can be made directly to the school also via Cash or EFTPOS.
The costs involved in the Voluntary Financial Contributions are:
- $50 per student; or
- $100 per family of two or more enrolled students.
The Voluntary Financial Contribution Scheme is approved by the P&C each year, and is aligned to the Department of Education policy requirements. By donating to the Voluntary Financial Contribution Scheme, Dayboro SS is able to provide classroom resources, home readers and other consumables to enhance learning activities for Literary, Numeracy, Science, Art and Technology.

Lasty, a HUGE congratulations to Lorelle Costelloe, a wonderful Teacher Aide at Dayboro SS, who was awarded the Dayboro Progress Association’s “Resident of the Year Award”. Well done Lorelle, we are very lucky to have you in our school and community.
