National Simultaneous Storytime

Well done to all of the students who came along to hear the story “Alpacas with Maracas” last Wednesday in the hall.  You participated in the activities with so much enthusiasm!  It was amazing to see so many students disguised as alpacas shaking their own maracas and dancing along with the music.

We hope you enjoyed the story as much as we did!

Book Fair is on the way! 

A reminder that our school Book Fair will be open in the school Library from June 7^th to June 12^th.  The decorations made by the students are looking amazing!   

Remember that colouring-in competition entries need to be submitted to the Library by the 7^th of June.  One winning entry will be selected from each year level to win a prize which will be selected from the Book Fair.  Winners will be announced during assembly on June 10^th and prizes will be presented by our very special guest - Geronimo Stilton!

Keep an eye out for the Book Fair brochure that will be sent home next week.

Premier’s Reading Challenge

Remember to keep on reading!  Every book you read in the coming weeks will count towards your Premier’s Reading Challenge total.  Reading books can be exchanged at the Library during both breaks each day, as well as during your class’s timetabled session each week.
