Year 2’s Excursion to North Pine Dam

Last Wednesday and Thursday, our year two students went on an excursion to the North Pine Dam. SEQ Water led us around their facilities, explaining how it all works and introducing us to all the wonderful wildlife that lives there.

Ruby, a water investigator, invited us to be water investigators with her, so we journeyed our way around the dam with her, learning how to watch and listen to nature deeply.

The qualities we worked on being throughout the day were: CURIOUS, CARING, CONNECTED AND COURAGEOUS.
