Friday 15^th August 2025: COLOUR RUN IS COMING!

Get ready to get loud, get messy, and get moving—our bi-annual Dayboro State School Colour Run is back and bursting with excitement!

This isn’t just a run—it’s our biggest fundraiser of the year, and every colourful step helps us leap closer to our goals:
 A brand-new playground for our kids to climb, laugh and play
And air conditioning for the school hall—because even learning deserves to be a breeze!

Whether you’re a student, parent, or community legend, we want YOU to be part of the fun. Mark your calendar, dust off your white shirts, and prepare to be showered in colour for a cause that counts!

On the day…….

Students

• You can wear your white t-shirt all day, but normal navy school shorts/skirts/long pants and closed in shoes are required.
• If you don’t want too much colour in your hair, we highly recommend wearing a hat during the run. We will have some glasses on hand to protect your eyes.
• If you are catching the bus home, don’t forget to bring a towel or a change of clothes so you don’t get all those lovely colours over the bus seats.
• ALL students are welcome to participate – let’s have some fun!

Parents

• If you would like to come and watch the fun, students will head up to the oval with their second break snacks and water bottles at 1pm. Below is a guideline on when each year level will run, however please remember that as with all these types of events, even the best plans can go a bit off track. So please note that these times are approximate.
  • 1:15pm – Prep
  • 1:30pm – Grade 1
  • 1:45pm – Grade 2
  • 2:00pm – Grade 3
  • 2:15pm – Grade 4
  • 2:30pm – Grade 5
  • 2:45pm – Grade 6

• If you are coming to watch, please feel more than welcome to come and help squirt the students with some colour. Either sign up on School24, or simply come by on the day and grab a bottle, we’d love to see you there.
• Pack some towels or a change of clothes for the trip home, your car and future self will thank you!

• Packup 3pm – 4pm

Father’s Day Stall – Tuesday 2^nd September

• 8:40am – 11am
• 11:30am – 1:30pm
