Mother’s Day Stall (11 May)

The first of P&C’s month of May events took place in our School Hall last Friday. Despite some hiccups late in the morning, hearty efforts by P&C members and other family volunteers ensured the stall was an overall success and all classes were fully catered for, and actual proceeds after all expenses indicates that we have in fact done extremely well. Our Principal Mr Drummond drew the three prize winners for the raffle component and the winners have all now been informed of their prizes and will be receiving these shortly. P&C would like to extend a sincere thanks to the stall organisers Kylie Juleff and Karen-Kay Hockings, along with all the other P&C members and family volunteers who provided terrific assistance in the lead up to, and especially throughout the morning and afternoon of the stall. We would also like thank the generosity of Next Level Coatings and Kylie Juleff for providing the prizes for the raffle, along with our local store Treasure Tribe for donations of sales items. Thank you all for making this year’s Mother’s Day Stall such a success, with all the proceeds of course now able to be used towards our School and its students!

Class Chocolate Collection Weigh-in Competition

Please remember that donations of chocs by each class will be weighed at the close of this competition next Monday 20 May. The class winner of this competition will of course receive a Pizza Party at the end of term. We all eagerly look forward to seeing which class will prove victorious this year. (All chocolates donated will in turn be used as part of P&C’s Dayboro Day stall.)

P&C Election Day “Democracy Sausage” BBQ (Saturday 18 May)

Please remember that P&C will be putting on a BBQ to accompany the AEC Polling Booth at our School’s Hall this coming election day Saturday. Please help as a volunteer at our Stall if you can, and a volunteer roster has been posted on the P&C’s Facebook page. But don’t forget to vote this Saturday, and if peckish, please consider purchasing something to eat or drink at our Stall.

Dayboro Day (26 May)

Dayboro Day is fast approaching and we will be needing volunteers to assist with our P&C Stall at this major annual Dayboro event. Craig Doyle Real Estate is again putting on its very popular Kidszone and Parent Chill Out zone in the car park at their office in town (9am – 3pm) during Dayboro Day. It will be a gold coin donation at each activity, with the bucking bull ride $5.00, and all proceeds raised from this is being kindly donated to our School!

P&C Meeting

Our next P&C meeting is scheduled for Monday 10 June.
