Deputy's News
Dear Families and Friends
As it is NAPLAN time this week for Year 3 and 5, it is timely to revisit the importance of helping our children to develop and adopt a Growth Mindset. Below is a reminder of the language we use at school to help develop resilience and confidence in all our students.
EXCITING NEWS! Our Class Chocolate Competition Weigh In Continues!
Every year the P and C ask for donations of chocolates for the Chocolate Drop stall they run on Dayboro Day. All funds raised go towards our school. So… we ask that children bring in donations of chocolates- big, small, blocks, fun-sized (just not cooking chocolate please). The chocolates should go straight to the class teacher who then keeps them until the BIG Chocolate weigh IN day! The chocolate collections are then weighed and the winning class receives a Pizza Party at the end of the term. So start bringing those chocolates in and help your class win the prize.
WEIGH IN DAY IS MONDAY 20thMAY!!!!!
Thank you to our organisers and helpers at the Mother’s Day stall last Friday. There was a great range of gifts for children to purchase at reasonable prices. We hope all our Mothers had a wonderful day.
