 Welcome back everyone to Term 4. I hope you had an enjoyable and relaxing break. It was great to see so many happy, smiling faces walking through the gate yesterday. We also welcomed some new families to our school this term.  I’m sure everyone will make them feel welcome.

Book Lists

2025 planning is underway. Booklists are ready to go and information on how to order has been emailed to all classes. Information is also available on our website. You can also go to Bedrock Books and order online directly.

Swimming

A reminder that swimming for Prep, Year 1, 2/3C and Yr. 3 starts in Week 4 on Thursday 24^th October. Children will swim twice a week on Thursdays and Fridays for 5 weeks in total. Please make sure payments are made as soon as possible so that teachers can finalise timetabling arrangements. A note will go home from teachers soon about what to bring and times for swimming. On the last day of swimming, Friday 22^nd November, parents are invited to come along and watch what their students have learnt. This Swimming Showcase session will be in their usual swimming class time on the Friday.

Also in Week 2 , Yr. 1 and 2 will be heading out on an excursion to the Pine Rivers Heritage museum. Yr .4 will be going on their Science Excursion as well in Week 3. Again permissions and payments are due.

All students are reminded to wait in the CSA before school between 8:15 am and 8:40 am. Children are not to wait outside classrooms or other areas around the school. When the bell goes at 8:40am students walk up to their classrooms. This is an important safety aspect and it is very important children are reminded of this expectation.
