800m

A huge number of students ran in our 800m carnival this week earning points for their house and potentially age champion points. These results will be added to the results from our main carnival this Friday.

Year 3-6 Athletics Carnival

The Yr 3-6 Athletics Carnival will be held on Friday 14^th June with a backup date of Tuesday 18^th June. 

Time: 8:50am. Please ensure your child is at school promptly. Event will run all day.

What to Bring:

• School hat. Hat must be worn when not competing
• House polo shirt or sports uniform
• Suitable footwear
• Full water bottle
• Lunch
• Sunscreen

Parent assistance will be required during each of the field rotations. Simply move around with your child and step forward if the supervising staff at the rotation ask for help.

Tuckshop will be running a menu on the day of the athletics carnival. Pre-ordering is essential. More information will follow.

10-12yr 1500m

The 1500m event is only open to 10-12 yr students, with the sole intention of selecting 1500m runners for the district carnival. As such, this event will be held after the athletics carnival, on Tuesday 18th June, at 11.00am. Students in the 1500m will not earn ribbons or gain points for the house championship trophy and individual age champion medallions.  Students MUST nominate for this event by writing their name on the sheet on the sports noticeboard in the CSA. This ensures I have accurate recording sheets prepared with matching numbers.
