Overdue Books Reminder

All students in Prep – Year 3 are reminded that all of their Library books are now due to be returned before the holiday break.  Students in Year 4 – Year 6 are able to borrow books over the holiday break, but all overdue books need to be returned before the end of term.  Thank you to the family members who help to look for these overdue books.

We have a substantial number of books that were borrowed by students in Term 1 that still need to be returned.  Due to the length of time that these books have been on loan they are now considered missing.  Students have been given multiple reminders about these books, we would appreciate the speedy return of these books.

Remember that students in years 4, 5, and 6 are also able to access eBooks and audio books using Sora.  Students will need their MIS username to access this resource and need to ensure they enter their school as Education Queensland.  Other online libraries, such as Moreton Bay Region Library accounts, can be linked through the app to provide access to a larger number of reading resources, including magazines.

Readers Cup Congratulations

Well done to all of our Readers Cup participants who represented our school so proudly at our recent competition day.  The students had an opportunity to meet with two authors on the day as well as meet students from other schools who also love reading!

Premier’s Reading Challenge

The Premier’s Reading Challenge reading period ends on August 23^rd.  Remember to keep on reading over the holiday break.  How many books will you read???
