We’re here, 2 weeks till Christmas Holidays! What a year it has been for our school and P&C.  Our P&C has had an enourmous year and we cant thank each of you enough for your contribution and involvement throughout the year. 

We would like to wish you all a wonderful Christams break and look forward to an even bigger 2024!

Thank you Moreton Bay Regional Council!

We are thrilled to announce that Elise secured a grant from the Moreton Bay Regional Council to replace our ‘old clunker’ BBQ.

Our parent and community volunteers will now be able to sizzle with pride when we fire up our brand new BBQ at future P&C events.

Tuckshop

Just a reminder that this is our last week of tuckshop service.  Our tuckshop will be closed in week 10 for stocktake and deep cleaning.

Christmas Disco

Our last P&C event for the year is here – the Christmas Disco!  Chappy Rach is turning DJ, and we want you to dazzle in our best Christmas attire.  Prizes await the most festive outfits!

Date: Friday, 1^st December

Time: 4.30-5.30pm Prep – Year 2

6.00-7.00pm Year 3 – Year 6

Cost: Gold coin (funds support the school chaplaincy program)

*Every child gets a cool ice block!

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

As we move into the final weeks of the school year, we would love some support at the Christmas Disco and the Tuckshop Stocktake and clean.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

1. Christmas Disco (Friday, 1^st December): Join us for an evening of disco lights and dancing. We would love some help to either set up from 2-3pm, or on the night. Please have a look at the different options on the School24 volunteer register.

2. Tuckshop Stocktake and Clean (8.30am-10.30am or 10.30am-12.30pm Tuesday 5^th December): Our tuckshop will be closed this week to enable a deep clean and stocktake, any help would be amazing!

Uniform Shop and Tuckshop Pricing

This is a courtesy message to advise that we are currently reviewing our pricing for both uniform shop and tuckshop for 2024.  The P&C strives to provide affordability and consistency while maintaining the quality of the products we sell.

Our uniform pricing has seen little to no increases on the majority of uniform items since 2020.  Unfortunatley the time has come where we have no choice but to increase prices in line with supplier increases.  The numbers are still being finalised but we wanted to be transparent and let you know that price increases will be effective from the end of term (Friday 8^th December).  Some items like our spray jackets will have a significant increase, while others will have more modest increases.

Tuckshop pricing will increase based on the increased cost of food we have seen this year.  We have worked hard this year to maintain the pricing set at the beginning of the year however some prodicts willnow need to be increased.  We are looking at each individual menu item so that we can hold prices where we can.

All uniform and tuckshop prices will be updated in School24 on Friday 8^th December in preparation for the start of the next year.
