World Staff Day – WOW! THANK YOU!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to World Staff Day last Friday.  The DSS staff got to enjoy a wonderful selection of treats throughout the day, thank you so much for your generosity, it was truly amazing.

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

As we move into the final term of the school year, we have several tuckshop days and events that are in need of your valuable volunteer support. Please consider joining us for the following activities:

1. Tuckshop (Friday, 3^rd November): Our most popular tuckshop day of the week, we are still looking for 2 x volunteers.
2. Tuckshop (Friday, 10^th November): We are still looking for 2 x volunteers, can you help make some toasted sandwiches?
3. Christmas Disco (Friday, 1^st December): Join us for an evening of disco lights and dancing.

To sign up for any of these upcoming events, please log on to the Volunteer Roster on School 24 and register your attendance.

Uniforms

As part of our commitment to providing the best experience for our students and families, we are currently reviewing our school uniform policy and supplier.

Over the years, there have been changes in the market, and we want to ensure that our uniform supplier meets the expectations and preferences of our school community. It has been quite some time since our last review, and we recognize that there may be factors influencing your views on this matter.

One significant aspect of this review is the consideration of increasing costs. We understand the financial responsibilities that come with providing your child with a quality education, and we want to ensure that our uniform remains affordable while maintaining high standards.

We invite you to share your thoughts on the current pricing and quality of our school uniforms. Your feedback is essential in helping us understand what matters most to you. Are there specific aspects you find particularly important, such as the origin of the products (Made In Australia), or would you prioritize keeping prices as low as possible?

2024 Planning Meeting – Monday 13^th November

Our next P&C meeting on Monday 13^th November will be our last meeting for the year.  As we close out another exciting year at Dayboro State School, we invite you to actively participate in shaping the future of our school by attending the P&C Planning Meeting for 2024.

This meeting is a crucial platform for parents and community members to contribute ideas, share perspectives, and collaboratively plan for the upcoming year. Your involvement is instrumental in ensuring the success and vibrancy of our school community.

Your attendance and active participation will ensure a diversity of perspectives, leading to a well-rounded and inclusive plan for our school community. Remember, every idea counts, and your input is invaluable.
