A reminder that swimming for Prep, Year 1, 1/2A and Yr 3 starts in Week 3 on Thursday 19th October. Children will swim twice a week on Thursdays and Fridays for 5 weeks in total. Please make sure payments are made before next week so that teachers can finalise timetabling arrangements. A note will go home from teachers soon about what to bring and times for swimming.
In Week 2 of this term, Years 5 and 6 will be participating in our annual “Talk About It” unit. This program is part of the Life Education group of programs and covers important aspects of children’s social, emotional and physical health needs. Notes and invoices for this program have been sent home last term.
Also in Week 2 , Yr 1 and 2 will be heading out on an excursion to the Pine Rivers Heritage museum. Yr 4 will be going to the Science centre and Museum also. Again permissions and payments are due.

COLOUR RUN
This Friday 1.30-3pm up on our oval. Please check our FB and the P&C FB for details. Don’t forget to register your interest.

All students are reminded to wait in the CSA before school between 8:15 am and 8:40 am. Children are not to wait outside classrooms or other areas around the school. When the bell goes at 8:40am students walk up to their classrooms. This is an important safety aspect and it is very important children are reminded of this expectation. Thank you parents for helping us keep your children safe!

Thank you to Mr Horne, Ms Lemmo, Mrs Cassell, Chappy Rachael and Mr Enchelmeier for attending the Yr 5 camp. From all accounts it was a hugely fun and successful camp with lots of team building and personal growth challenges had.
