P&C News

We hope this newsletter finds you well and enjoying the start of spring! We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of you who supported the recent Father's Day Stall and Father's Day Raffle. Your enthusiasm and generosity made these events a resounding success!

Committee Meeting

Our next meeting is being held via Teams on Monday 11th September at 6.30pm, please contact Johanna at secretary@dayboropandc.org.au if you’d like to come along. You’d be most welcome.

Father’s Day Stall and Raffle

We are thrilled to announce that together the Father's Day Raffle and Stall raised an impressive $3600! This fantastic outcome would not have been possible without your contributions and participation. Your support directly benefits our school and its programs, and we thank you for making a difference.  This was our first online raffle and would welcome any feedback from the community.

We’d like to congratulate all winners of the raffle and trust that you will enjoy your wonderful prizes.

Colour Run 2024 is coming!

The much anticipated Colour Run is happening again.  Keep your eyes peeled for some information coming home in school bags and on our Dayboro State School P&C Association Facebook page.

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

As we move into the next exciting phase of the school year, we have several upcoming events that are in need of your valuable volunteer support. These events play a significant role in enriching the school experience for our students, and your help makes them possible. Please consider joining us for the following activities:

  1. Dinner Prep for Family Dance Night (Thursday, 7th September): Help us get ready for an evening of dancing and fun by assisting with dinner preparations.
  2. Family Dance Night Food Service (Thursday, 7th September): Be a part of the excitement during our Family Dance Night by helping with food service.
  3. Tuckshop (Friday, 8th September): Lend a hand at the tuckshop on this day, ensuring our students have delicious meals and snacks.
  4. Tuckshop (Wednesday, 13th September): Another opportunity to support the tuckshop, making sure our students are well-fed and ready to learn.
  5. Bunnings Sausage Sizzle (Saturday, 16th September): Join us for a day of fundraising at Bunnings. We'll be sizzling sausages, and your assistance will be invaluable.
  6. Colour Run (Friday, 6th October): Join us for a day of colour and laughter and help decorate our students as they run around our obstacle course.

To sign up for any of these upcoming events, please log on to the Volunteer Roster on School 24 and register your attendance. Your commitment and dedication are what make our school community so strong and vibrant.

Once again, thank you for your continued support. Together, we can make Dayboro State School a place of growth, learning, and lasting memories for our children.

We wish you all a safe and restful holiday break!

Warm regards,
