Book Week
It’s Book Week! Thank you so much for your support of our Character Costume Parade today. Everyone looked amazing. As always, I was impressed by the creativity and ingenuity in putting together costumes for the parade.
The Library has a variety of Book Week activities on offer this week – everything from reading, to crafting and robotics. Students are welcome to come and join in with the activities during first and second break each day.
The Meerkat Productions performances of “The Way of Dog” and “Frank’s Red Hat” also too place today. The children were engaged with the performances and enjoyed the “live action” version of the books.
Premiers Reading Challenge
The Premier’s Reading Challenge reading period ends this Friday. Please ensure that completed reading record sheets and permission forms are returned to your child’s teacher as soon as possible so that each child who is eligible for a certificate has been added to the database.
Reading record forms and consent forms can be found on the Premier’s Reading Challenge website.
Have a great week!

Book Club
Book Club for term 3 has been issued to students. Families are also able to view the latest issue of Book Club on line. Orders for this issue of Book Club will close on Thursday the 31st of August (Week 8).
It is easy to order. The Book Club LOOP platform for parents allows you to pay by credit card. Your child’s order is submitted directly to school and the books will be delivered to their class. You can place your child’s order at scholastic.com.au/loop or by using the LOOP app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. Alternatively, order forms with payment can be handed in at the school office. All orders placed through Book Club help to earn free reading books for the school library.
