Hi everyone,
We’d like to extend a warm welcome to all of the new families that have joined Dayboro State School in the recent weeks. We hope you are settling in to your new school community and getting the opportunity to meet some new friends. I thought I would take this opportunity to introduce your P&C committee members (photos coming shortly, eeek).

Our committee have been very busy this term. Katherine has been working tirelessly getting School24 up and running, Johanna has coordinated and run her wonderful coffee cart at Sports Day and Chappy Pancake Day, Emily is working on making our Operational Plan more user friendly, Elise is gathering information and applying for grants and Nathan has been providing great feedback on our new platforms and processes. Our fundraising team are getting ready for Father’s Day, Colour Run and Family Dance Night. Nathalie, Johanna and Katherine have all been working on increasing our social media presence and sharing information across the school community.
This team have already achieved so much this year and having fun along the way. Thank you to each of you for everything you are doing for our school.
If you would like to be involved with our committee please get in touch, we’d love to have more parents and community members on board.
1 week to go!!!!! Tuckshop GO LIVE on SCHOOL 24 is Monday 14th August 2023
It’s time to register for School24, with only 1 week to go we encourage everyone to familiarize themselves with the new platform.
Would you like a hand getting set up? Please reach out to the office and leave your details and someone from the P&C will be in touch. We’ve got this!
Accessible through the web or the app on your device, it’s convenient and user-friendly, and designed to enhance your experience with our school. Feedback from families that have already placed orders through the uniform shop have been overwhelmingly positive.
Keep an eye out for some yummy additions to the menu, Bolognese Pasta and Butter Chicken, filling and warming for our little learners tummies.
Tuckshop Volunteers desperately needed
Our tuckshop is currently open on Wednesdays and Fridays, as well as special events like sports days and dance nights.
We have a wonderful small group of regular volunteers who help out when they can, but in order for us to continue to offer this service we will need to increase our number of helpers.
Volunteering will be made even easier through School24, all you have to do is click on ‘VOLUNTEER ROSTER’ and sign up to whichever day you can help. No experience is necessary! Family members, grandparents and community members are most welcome and we will happily guide them through the Blue Card application process.
