French Day – Friday, June 23 (last day of term 2)
French Day is always a highlight of the Dayboro State School calendar. This year we will be celebrating all things French with food, fashion and fun.
Food: All students will be able to order a delicious French-themed meal from our wonderful tuckshop.
Fashion: It is time to delve into the back of wardrobes and storage boxes to create a French-themed costume. All students are encouraged to participate.
Students can dress as a French icon such as the Eiffel Tower or a croissant; a famous French person; a painting; a cyclist or soccer player; a bottle of perfume; or anything else French. They could also dress in the French colours of dark blue, white and red; or wear clothes with French writing.
Fun: Students in years 4, 5 and 6 will participate in a fun-filled, French-themed activity during their lesson in week 10.
Look out for more details.
