Deputy's News
Dear Families and Friends
COMMUNITY
Well it certainly takes a village and at Dayboro we are fortunate to have so many people in our community ready to support and help our students here at Dayboro. Thank you to our hard working P&C executive, our Tuckshop Convenor Alison and her volunteers, our uniform shop convenor, Karen, Sgt Ken and Sgt Paul, our Chaplaincy team of volunteers who work so hard to support Chappy Rach, Leesa and Humphrey for Story Dogs, Bray Park High School for providing us with enrichment opportunities for our students, our local Early Childhood Educators, Helping Hands and the parents who have baked treats for us and showed they care. Thank you all for everything you do for our students. Your care and support do make a difference and don’t go unnoticed and are greatly appreciated.
While Dayboro students continued to shine academically this year and excelled in a range of extra-curricular pursuits, what continues to define our students is their excellent commitment to the values and behaviour codes of our school. The support of parents is also highly important in ensuring our expectations around being safe, respectful and learners are constantly upheld. So...Thank you students and parents for making Dayboro a great school!
Finally …. I would like to thank our Student Leaders of 2022 and all our other Yr 6 students who have responsibly led our students with kindness and care at Dayboro this year- thank you to Annabelle, Mikayla, Ivy and Xavier as well as all the Yr 6 Sports and Music leaders and cohort. Thank you all for your helpfulness and responsible ways. All of you really do demonstrate and model for others Respect, Safety and Learning in so many ways but most of all you are wonderful humans and I wish you all the best for your future at High School. You will all shine!!!
