Principal's News
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
This Friday we finish our first busy term. Our students are to be congratulated for the ease in which they have settled into learning for this year with routines now well established. Your support, as our partners in learning has set us in good stead for a successful three terms ahead.
I would also like to thank the P&C for the very successful Easter Raffle and to the many families who donated and purchased tickets to make this once again, a great fundraiser for our school. This year, we exceeded the 2018 totals with the number of donations and the amount raised. This year a total of $4369 has been raised which will go towards our major P&C project – air conditioning our school library. Congratulations to all the prize winners!
Also, a big thank you to Kylie Juleff and her team of helpers who ran the very successful canteen at the Senior Sports Day last Tuesday. It was wonderful to see the amount of donated home bake goods and the number of volunteers who assisted throughout the day.
Finally, as it is the end of the term, please take the opportunity to enjoy the two week break with family and friends. Students return to school on Tuesday 23 April 2019.

Parking in School Grounds & Crossing Mackenzie Street after School
A reminder that there is no parking in the school grounds morning or afternoon. It has also been brought to our attention by members of the public that parents are walking their children across the road between parked cars and busses in the afternoons. Please take care, it is an unsafe practice and we really need to be educating our children that the crossing is the safest place for them to cross the road.

Woolworths Earn and Learn
Our school has once again signed up to be part of this program for 2019. In 2017, our school was able to purchase over $3000 worth of teaching materials from
Modern Teaching Aids as a result of participation. The promotion runs from 1 May to 25 June. The stickers will once again be collected at the school office.
