Book Fair
Thank you to all of the students and their families who came along to support this year’s Book Fair. We hope you are enjoying reading your new books.
The Book Fair raised $1500 for the Library to purchase new books and we have already placed our first order for books requested by students! Keep an eye out for these books when they arrive in the Library.
Book Borrowing and Returns
We have had quite a few disruptions to our weekly borrowing schedule this term with multiple Monday public holidays and allocation of the Library space to facilitate NAPLAN online testing. These changes have had an impact on the number of opportunities students have had to borrow new books and to return overdue books. A reminder that students are welcome to exchange their reading books during breaks on any day (even if it is not their regular day for class borrowing). Students who have overdue books are asked to return these as soon as possible. Remember to check school bags, book shelves, bedrooms and tidy trays at school for any books that may be missing. Thank you!
National Simultaneous Storytime
Students in all year levels are welcome to join in with the 22nd annual National Simultaneous Storytime event next Wednesday the 25th of May during first break from 11.00 a.m. After listening to this year’s book, “Family Tree”, students are welcome to stay for the remainder of first break and join in with our celebration activities.
