Congratulations

Congratulations to all our district cross country runners. After a downpour early in the day the sun definitely reared it’s head in time for the primary runners. Special mention to Ivy S., Laylah J., Kaycee J., Lachlan Y., Tilly W, and Emily D. who all finished in the top eight and will now be competing at regionals.

Congratulations also to Regan W. who was successful in making the district team at the NRL district trials.

Upcoming District Trials

Tennis (boys and girls) and Rugby Union (boys) are coming up soon. If your child is skilled and interested please remind them to add their name to the Expression of Interest sheet on the sports noticeboard so that I can follow up with the paperwork.

After School Sporting Opportunities

AFL

AFL, run by NAB Auskick, will be on Mondays 3:10-4:10 on the school oval. The full program is $80 including a benefits pack with the first week a free come and try. It is open to all P-6 students. To attend you need to register (the AFL sign up flyer, PDF) directly with the company and also complete the school permission form (Permission AFL T2, Word doc) and return it to the office. This program will run for 6 weeks.

Baseball/Teeball - Was to begin Wednesday this week but due to low numbers will be postponed.  If your child is interested in participating, please return the permission form to the office ASAP.  We will advise a new start date as soon as possible.

Baseball/Teeball, run by Gecko Sports, will be on Wednesdays 3:10-4:10 on the school oval. The program is free through Sporting Schools. It is open to yr 3-6 students up to a maximum of 30 students. To attend you need to complete the school permission form (Permission Sporting Schools baseball T2, Word doc) and return it to the office.

Extra copies of both forms are at the school office.
